![]() ![]() My question is, is there a set that's going to get me that far this season, or am I going to have to grind more paragons than that? I know LoD WoL monk is supposedly going to be the most powerful but I've played inna for the past couple seasons and won't be playing a monk this season because I'll burn out too quick. I usually only get to ~1200 paragon before I stop playing the season because of burn out. It seems as though most theory crafts and builds have been found already in the PTR for season 27, assuming they don't make anymore major changes before the season launches. ![]() On T16, I can hit a power pylon without my ricochets one-shotting things, which makes the build feel more consistent and less annoying for teammates who also generally love power pylons. The only real "accomplishment" I have left to do in this game is reach 150 solo in a single season. This not only tanked my output (since I couldn't spam impale), but it also killed my mobility (fewer impales to get free tumbles with Chain of Shadows) AND my survivability (Elusive Ring wasn't as reliable because of no free tumbles, Hatred would be below threshold for Aquila Cuirass). On T13 in past seasons, power pylons made it so that the ricochets also one-shotted everything they hit, so I wouldn't get any hatred from the bounces hitting things that had been impaled before. Meanwhile, I can actually hit power pylons in T16 rifts. I've not really had any problems with bosses dying too slowly, and once I got a few levels on Gogok and a couple ancient gear pieces survivability even with multiple elite packs has been a non-issue. Direct impales still melt single targets, and while you do actually have to pay SOME attention to your health bar it's still pretty safe. Shadow Impale DH actually feels nicer in T16 than T13. ![]()
